VP C.P. Radhakrishnan addresses National Youth Parliament in Nagpur, highlights role of youth in Developed India 2047

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan has urged students that, while following a modern and progressive mindset, they should not forget the rich and diverse cultural heritage of our country. Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan was addressing the 29th National Youth Parliament at the Maharshi Vyas Auditorium in Dr. Hedgewar Smriti Mandir in Reshimbagh at Nagpur today.
While stressing participation of youths in Developed India, the Vice President called upon the youth to uphold the integrity of the Tricolour and ensure its continued glory in a ‘Developed India’ by the year 2047.
He further emphasized that, as the world currently grapples with the spectre of global conflict, the only viable solution lies in dialogue and discourse.
Highlighting the significance of the city of Nagpur, Mr Radakrishnan noted that it was in this very historic city, in 1925, that Keshav Baliram Hedgewar founded the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The event was attended by the Governor of Maharashtra, Jishnu Dev Sharma; Nagpur’s Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule; and a large gathering of students.
The 4 Day Indian Youth Parliament begins today in Nagpur, centred around theme ‘ Indian Languages & Viksit Bharat@2047’. The participants will dwell upon the issues relating to this theme through discussion, papaer presentations.
